These airfryer falafels, golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, are ready in just a few minutes for a healthy, vegetarian meal. Easy and quick to prepare, they can be enjoyed, for example, hot with pita bread, salad and yogurt sauce for a delicious and balanced meal.

Preparing the dough

    Slice the onion and garlic.

    Blend the cooked or canned chickpeas with the onion, garlic, parsley, coriander, spices, salt and pepper until you obtain a smooth but slightly grainy paste.

    Add the breadcrumbs and mix. The dough should be firm enough to form balls.

Making falafels

    Shape into small balls approximately 3 to 4 cm in diameter.

  2. To finish

    Brush lightly with olive oil.

Airfryer cooking

    Preheat the airfryer to 180°C for 3 minutes.

    Place the falafels in the basket without overlapping them.

  3. To finish

    Cook for 12 to 15 minutes at 180°C, turning them halfway through cooking. Serve hot.
