    Prepare the aromatic base

    Slice the onions and cut the sausages into slices. Heat the oil in a large pot, add the onions and sausages, then brown for 5 minutes over medium heat.

    Add the red cabbage

    Finely slice the red cabbage into strips and add to the pot.

    Add the chestnuts and broth

    Add the drained chestnuts, pour in the 25 cl of water and crumble the stock cube.

    Let simmer gently

    Cover and cook for 45 minutes over low heat.

  5. Finalize cooking

    Continue for another 20 minutes over low heat to obtain a very melting stew.
